This painting was inspired by a mix of creative exploration and tropical daydreams. After taking a class on acrylic painting, I set off on a trip to Costa Rica, expecting lush rainforests, tropical sunshine, and vibrant beaches. Little did we know we had booked our stay at one of the highest elevations, where mist, clouds, and chilly rain replaced the tropical warmth. Sapphire Sanctuary captures the vision I had imagined—the vivid, serene, lush sanctuary of the rainforest that I had pictured in my mind—bringing the colors, textures, and tranquility of that dreamscape to life on canvas.
