Suspended Horizon
15” x 22” Acrylic on Paper
$165 solo
$300 as a diptych with Terraced Horizon
Suspended Horizon was created as the companion piece to Terraced Horizon, forming a diptych that balances movement and structure. While Terraced Horizon was inspired by the colorful, cascading coastline of Cinque Terre from our honeymoon, Suspended Horizon draws its energy from the bridges and aqueducts we sped past on trains while traveling across Europe. I wanted to capture that sense of motion and architecture—the rhythm of arches and lines suspended in space—while keeping the palette and texture connected to its coastal counterpart. Together, the two paintings tell a story of travel and connection, of earth meeting sky, and memories stitched together by movement.
