Marsh Glow emerged from a fully intuitive process, layering acrylic ink, modeling paste, crackle paste, collage, and more to create a rich, textured composition. The goal was to capture an ethereal, almost otherworldly vibe, reminiscent of the marshlands in one of my favorite books, Where the Crawdads Sing. Each layer, texture, and shimmer works together to evoke the quiet mystery and luminous beauty of the marsh at twilight.
